The Apostles' Creed
We hold to the historic Christian faith as summarized in the Apostles' Creed, the ancient statement of belief that has united Christians across centuries and continents.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
The Five Solas
We stand in the tradition of the Protestant Reformation, affirming the five "solas" that articulate the heart of the Gospel and the authority of Scripture.
The Bible is the sole infallible source of authority for Christian faith and practice.
Justification is received through faith alone, not by any merit or work of our own.
Salvation is entirely a gift of God's grace, unearned and undeserved by sinful humanity.
Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man, the sole basis of our salvation.
All glory is due to God alone, as salvation is accomplished by Him from beginning to end.
